Luis José Gómez Mota

Luis José Gómez Mota is a lawyer with a specialization in Administrative Law and experience in public affairs, democratic advocacy, citizen participation and organizational strengthening across Colombia and the region. His work articulates institutional-relations strategies, public narratives, positioning and spokespersonship with political, social and media actors.

He has led public relations and served as Colombia coordinator for a regionally present non-governmental organization, with institutional representation, program coordination and articulation with civil-society organizations, international cooperation and public institutions. He has supported political-communication and reputation-management processes, including electoral-campaign stages, and is founder and president of a youth-leadership foundation, leading social and educational projects.

As a columnist and content creator he has taken part in opinion and public-debate spaces in leading media outlets, and hosts a podcast on current affairs, democracy, leadership and citizen participation. He is currently Director of Institutional Relations at GOVERNA.
